The Model S is a great car with soul stirring looks and performance. I think, if they had copied Ferrari's business model, they would be in a better place. Mr. Musk seems to be in a headlong rush to produce many thousands of cars. Do they really have the strength to do that? Now, two more top tier execs have resigned.

Many are talking about the 400,000 pre-orders. I think it's interesting that so many have put down hard earned funds for a car they've never sat in ... a car they're never driven ... a car whose final form and quality is unknown ... a car from a company that is likely to survive, but whose existence is not at all guaranteed. This is called "faith."

I think these potential buyers should know that their funds are not held in escrow but are used by Tesla. Essentially, they are "unsecured loans." If Tesla does not survive, their money is gone.

Andy Hoffman just pointed out that the biggest 'commercials' (banksters) short position in gold has been building ever higher since investors started getting back into gold and silver again. He says it is the biggest gold short in history to date. Same with silver, huge, 'commercials' shorting it. I don't think the government cretins in the West realise there is only so much people are going to take of this growing bankster corruption. I think even the most dumbed down of us are starting to realise we are being ruled by a banking cabal that is answerable to no one.

Except storing energy in the Powerwall cost about $.58 a kilowatt hour, about four times what it would cost to buy directly from utility. Of course, that is if you or I buy it directly from Tesla. How sweet a deal could SoarCity get?

When oil rich Saudi Arabia pronounces that they will end their addiction to oil and rapidly expand into solar power you'd think the US might get the message. But NO, the Koch brothers and the other fossil fuel giants like Exxon-Mobil in the US continue to buy state capitals and DC to prevent us from joining the global solar revolution. The Koch's via their Heritage Policy con organization has a very well organized nation wide campaign attacking net metering and all solar.

The US isn't even in the top 5 nations in solar power......and solar power was actually 1st developed here. Amazing......thanks to the Koch brothers and Exxon and the old fossil fuel industry we are giving away the future!

Germany, Italy, China, Spain, France, Norway, Sweden, and now Saudi Arabia are all rapidly expanding into solar power - roof top solar power to be precise!

You do realize $2.2 billion is peanuts compared to the market size? x86 CPU market alone is ~$60 billion.

Historically speaking AMD "Hammer" architecture was their best CPU. Which managed to gain a 50% market share. They would have probably gotten more if it weren't for Intel paying off large OEMs not to use AMD.

Anyways Zen may not be as good as "Hammer" but there is plenty of revenue for AMD to gain from it. They only need about 10% of the market.

The Chinese took the trouble of rebuilding a market for precious metals. It is a revolutionary building, which in the history books will be recorded as one of the great steps forward in civilisation. Thanks to the Chinese people for their wisdom!

The fiat experiments will be looked back as uncivilized corruption and idiotic chaotic trials and errors.

Of course on their roadmap the Chinese also had to "howl with the wolves", but their decision for a metal-based honest Au/Ag-market is a revolutionary leap forward.
